I took this shot on a trip up to the lake district to pick up a car one Saturday morning. I was much too early for the train as normal, so had a coffee and took some shots of the station and surrounding area.

I’ve no idea how many views makes a popular profile, and nor does anyone else on the web after a quick web search, but here’s my photostream anyway, may as well plug it whilst we’re on the subject!

Fiddling with my camera on Christmas day after a few too many glasses of wine! I found these shots rather interesting, getting the camera in shot and trying to get myself out of it

After a look around the ice caves in the glacier, I took some time to admire the view. Then stuck a neutral density filter on and took some long exposure shots of the Bellecote cable cars to make them look as terrifyingly fast as they felt when we came up on one!

After an interesting trip up the glacier, we came down on the Roche de mio left, and whilst I was left paralysed with fear in the corner of the cable car, my girlfriend stuck the lens out of the window and took this beautiful shot of the landscape.

We walked some way into the glacier and all the way up some stairs to the edge to see this sight. There was no escape! (other than walking back around to the entrance again)

One of the less terrifying cable cars (gondolas) in La Plagne. Still fairly nasty though, hanging from a bit of rope in a fibre glass bubble at 2500 metres!

In the ice caves carved into the glacier near La Plagne in France are some great sculptures made out of ice, including this one of a 2CV
