On a short contract in London last year, I worked in this rather impressive building with a central atrium. Not being a great fan of heights, I just suck the camera over the railing and pressed the button without much forethought, but with a nice result giving the impression of a long drop down. We weren’t even on the top floor!

Just down the road from us is the only complete windmill left in the UK. Apparently still in use and regularly turned, it’s a delightful part of the local country walk we take the dog to. Here is the rear of the windmill looking up the movable arm up to the sails in the distance.

I took this shot on a trip up to the lake district to pick up a car one Saturday morning. I was much too early for the train as normal, so had a coffee and took some shots of the station and surrounding area.
