Puffin safe in it’s burrow

A puffin peering out from it’s burrow after safely negotiating the gulls to feed it’s young.

There are over 36,000 breeding pairs of puffins on the Farne Islands and we were lucky enough to be there at the right time of year to watch them feed and fly around.
