Within the Palace of the Parliament, Bucharest, Romania, is the National museum of contemporary art. In a contrast to the rest of the palace, the museum has a glass edifice containing elevators to get you from floor to floor.
The building itself, the 2nd largest in the world after the pentagon, is impressive in size to say the least. Still unfinished after the fall from power of Nicolae Ceau?escu, the building is a powerful reminder of his regime and is visible from much of Bucharest.
