One of the more endearing features of Sofia were the trams. Like a lot of Bulgarian public transport, some trams were brand new and some were left overs from the communist era with old men turning steel control handles and wheels. (Czech Tatra T4D’s)
For just one Lv you could travel the length of the city, but it was an extra Leva for your backpack 🙂
